How You Can Pray This Month
We’re continually reminded how much we depend on the Lord—and how meaningful it is to have you standing with us in prayer. There are many things we can plan and prepare for, but it is God who opens doors, softens hearts, and sustains us along the way. Your prayers are a vital part of that work, and we’re deeply thankful for your faithfulness. Join us in prayer this month:
How You Can Pray for Our Family
• Pray for Kelly, Janaya, and Joel as we continue traveling throughout the United States until July 31. Ask the Lord to renew our strength physically, emotionally, and spiritually during these remaining weeks of travel. Please pray especially for Janaya, who has been experiencing daily headaches, that God would bring complete healing and grant her renewed energy and peace.
• Pray for the many opportunities we have to reconnect with family and friends during our time in the States. Ask the Lord to make each visit meaningful and encouraging, to deepen relationships, and to open doors for conversations that strengthen one another in Christ and bring glory to Him.
• Pray as we make arrangements for Kelly’s late mother’s belongings. We need to move a few remaining items from her home and find suitable storage in the Johnson City, Tennessee, area. Please ask the Lord to provide an affordable, secure, and convenient storage solution, and to guide us as we make these practical decisions.
• Pray that our family would continue to walk closely with the Lord throughout this season of travel and transition. Ask Him to give us wisdom in each decision, unity in our family, and hearts that remain sensitive to His leading. May we reflect Christ’s love and be an encouragement to everyone we meet along the way.
How You Can Pray for the Thai People and Our Ministry
• Pray for Joel during the remainder of our ministry travels in the United States through July 31. Ask the Lord to continue opening doors to share what He is doing in Thailand through speaking engagements, personal conversations, and times with supporting churches. Please pray especially for the opportunities to speak at Thrive Christian Church in Westfield, Indiana, on July 19, and Greater Phoenix Chinese Christian Church in Arizona on July 26. Pray that many would be encouraged by God’s work in Thailand and inspired to pray, give, and become more involved in reaching the nations.
• Pray for Kelly and Rhythms in Motion as she continues sharing the vision of this ministry while we are in the United States. Ask the Lord to provide meaningful opportunities to connect with individuals, churches, and potential ministry partners who would catch the heart behind this outreach. Pray that God would use these conversations to encourage others and expand the impact of Rhythms in Motion in the months ahead.
• Pray for our return to Thailand on July 31 and for the ministry opportunities awaiting us there. Ask the Lord to grant safe travel, renewed strength, and a smooth transition back into ministry. Please also pray for our upcoming Safe Journey outreach on August 22 at a school in Fang, Northern Thailand, where we plan to distribute 102 motorcycle helmets and New Testaments to students. Approximately 400 students will attend the program. Pray that hearts will be open to the Gospel and that God would continue to bless and expand future Safe Journey outreaches throughout Thailand.
• Please continue to pray for Police Captain James and his family as they grow in their walk with Christ. We are grateful to partner with him each month by providing 10 motorcycle helmets and 10 New Testaments for distribution through his community outreach. As Captain James shares these encounters through his social media platform, pray that God would prepare the hearts of each person who receives a helmet and Scripture, drawing many to faith in Jesus. Also pray that Captain James and Winnie would continue to grow in spiritual maturity, remain steadfast in their faith, and be a shining testimony of God’s transforming grace.
